Wendlasida Sandrine Combere is a Climate Services Expert at the African Centre of Meteorological Applications for Development (ACMAD), working at the intersection of climate science and communication. She has a background in meteorology and seven years of experience in delivering climate information services to end users. She is currently supporting the establishment and operationalization of a continental Climate and Health Desk at ACMAD. Before joining ACMAD, she worked as a weather forecaster at the National Meteorological Service of Burkina Faso, where she contributed to the establishment of the country’s heatwave early warning bulletin. She is also a member of the NORCAP Climate Expert Roster.
