CAPA Strategies is seeking a Program Associate to support the delivery of its climate hazard monitoring programs and projects, including its innovative urban heat mapping program, Heat Watch. The Heat Watch program aims to provide actionable intelligence to clients through a community data collection campaign that collects spatially-rich ambient temperature and humidity data across a region. Heat Watch has been conducted in over 100 domestic and international cities. As a result of participating in the Heat Watch program, cities generate new levels of engagement on heat action planning and advance heat management initiatives and policies. The program receives extensive media attention and attracts clients who represent current leaders in the climate adaptation field.
